Welcome to St. Maximilian's House, a nurturing sober living home dedicated to helping women overcome addiction. Located in the heart of Baton Rouge, LA, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where women can transition into a sober and fulfilling life.

At St. Maximilian's House, we understand the complexities of addiction and the importance of a holistic approach to recovery. Our comprehensive range of services includes substance abuse IOP services, family therapy, and group therapy through trusted partnerships. We aim to address not only the physical aspects of addiction but also the emotional and relational components, ensuring a well-rounded recovery journey.

We believe in spiritual freedom and respect each individual's unique spiritual path. Unlike many recovery homes, we offer the freedom for residents to develop a relationship with a God of their understanding, catering to a diverse range of beliefs.

Personal responsibility and accountability are at the core of our philosophy. We emphasize the development of essential life skills, promoting independence and self-reliance. Our nurturing community fosters growth and healing, with semi-private rooms and meal plans available upon request to ensure a comfortable living experience.

Safety and sobriety are our top priorities. Random drug screenings are conducted to maintain a safe and drug-free environment, reinforcing our commitment to sobriety.

Join us at St. Maximilian's House, where we offer essential resources and opportunities for a smooth transition into a sober life and the rejuvenation of relationships with loved ones. Together, we can build a strong foundation for a healthy, fulfilling, and sober future.

Meals

Each resident will be responsible for providing their own meals, allowing them the freedom to choose and prepare food that suits their individual preferences and dietary needs. To facilitate this, residents will have access to a fully equipped community kitchen. This shared kitchen space is designed to encourage communal cooking and meal preparation, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community among residents. It’s a wonderful opportunity for residents to bond, share recipes, and support one another in their recovery journey.

To ensure that the kitchen remains a safe, clean, and germ-free environment for everyone, each resident is expected to clean up after using the facilities. This includes washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and properly storing any leftover ingredients. By taking responsibility for the cleanliness of the kitchen, residents help maintain a hygienic space that promotes overall well-being and respect for one another.
